Overview

Canovate is a marketing content generation platform for licensed cannabis dispensary operators. All users must comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Prohibited Content

You may not use Canovate to generate content that:

• Targets, appeals to, or is intended to influence minors (under 21 in all US markets)
• Makes medical claims (e.g., "cannabis cures," "treats," or "prevents" specific diseases without FDA approval)
• Contains federal Schedule I cannabis language in violation of the CSA
• Violates state-specific advertising restrictions in your dispatch state(s)
• Uses deceptive or misleading claims about products, pricing, or effects
• Impersonates a government agency, healthcare provider, or other institution
• Promotes illegal activity or is associated with criminal conduct
• Contains hate speech, harassment, or discrimination based on protected characteristics
• Infringes on third-party intellectual property (trademarks, copyrights, trade dress)

Account Use

• One Bud account per location. Do not share login credentials across multiple dispensaries.
• Do not use Canovate to generate content for unlicensed dispensaries or in markets where cannabis is fully prohibited.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or re-sell AI-generated content as a standalone product.

Compliance Responsibility

The compliance linter is a tool, not legal advice. Subscribers are solely responsible for the content they approve and dispatch. Conversion System LLC disclaims liability for content that violates applicable law after approval.

Enforcement

Violations may result in: warning, content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination without refund. We may also be required to report illegal content to law enforcement.
